Peter Mayers is a hydrogeologist with 32 years experience in hydrogeology and geology, including 20 years as a groundwater consultant.

Peter’s hydrogeological experience includes a range of pre-feasibility and feasibility level studies  for mine dewatering and water supply assessments, pit depressurisation investigations and other studies in both Australia and Africa. These projects have ranged in size and scope from hands-on supervision of field investigations, hydraulic testing, data collection and analysis, to project design, planning and management; working with companies of all sizes and varying requirements.

In addition to project management, Peter’s expertise covers traditional hydrogeology including data assessment and numerical ground water modelling for aquifer assessment and characterisation, mine dewatering and seepage impact assessments.  Services include post closure water balance modelling.

With an extensive groundwater and geoscience background, he can also offer assistance in speciality areas, such as study review.
